Horton Park Primary School (part of Exceed Academies Trust) is seeking to appoint inspirational teachers to work in our large, happy multi-cultural inner city school. Horton Park is a 2 form entry primary school, for children aged 4-11 years, which has a growing and improving reputation with the local community and wider afield.  Although situated in one of Bradford’s most challenging contexts, our outcomes for pupils are some of the best in Bradford and our most recent Ofsted report described us as ‘Good’.

Teaching Assistant: Maternity Cover

Band 3-4 (SCP 8-12)      33.5 hours a week, including 1.5hrs CPD (Tuesday 3.30pm – 5pm), TTO

Teaching Assistant: Maternity Cover

We are looking for a highly organised and dedicated individual to join our team. An active willingness to contribute to the provision of a high quality learning experience in class is vital. The post will involve working with the Class Teacher to raise attainment, this will include supporting children’s learning through choosing when and how to talk with children to move them forward in a focused, challenging and very caring manner.

The successful candidate will be keen to work with children and staff and will give 100% to the school, they will be able to enjoy their work life, whilst leading and inspiring others. The role may involve supporting specific children with additional needs.  Candidates must have suitable English, Mathematics and IT skills and will need to provide evidence that they have the skills to do the job.

We will also consider candidates wishing to gain school experience prior to initial teacher training.
